Experience & Services
What I've done and what I can do for you.
Professional Background
I’m an operations researcher and decision scientist with experience spanning national security analytics, business intelligence, financial planning, and entrepreneurship.
Most recently, I was a Senior Operations Research Analyst at The MITRE Corporation (2023–2025), where I supported government sponsors on risk analysis, critical infrastructure resilience, and supply chain disruption. I led an 8-person team to design a strategic decision-making exercise with international stakeholders that won an internal award and follow-on work. I also developed test and evaluation scenarios for LLM-based analytical software.
Before MITRE, I completed a Ph.D. in Business Administration at the University of Massachusetts Boston, focusing on management information systems and decision science. My research covered simulation modeling, robustness under uncertainty, and complex systems. While in the program, I served as instructor of record for an undergraduate decision-making course and supported graduate courses in business intelligence, data warehousing, and big data analysis.
Earlier in my career, I was Strategy Manager and Director of Business Intelligence at Willow, a venture-backed startup, where I built the company’s BI stack from scratch (Panoply, Stitch, Tableau), owned FP&A responsibilities including forecasting and pro forma financial statements, and created board presentations for investor reporting.
Before that, I founded Mattress Nerd, an affiliate-based review site that drove over $10M in partner sales. I was solely responsible for strategy, content, SEO, analytics, and stakeholder negotiation. I successfully negotiated and executed the sale of the business.

Consulting Services
I take on select project-based consulting work. If any of these sound like what you need, book a call and we can see if it’s a fit.
Fractional Analytics & BI
You have data in five places and nobody making sense of it. I’ll connect your data sources, build your dashboards, set up your reporting, and train your team to maintain it. I’ve done this from scratch at a venture-backed startup and I can do it for you.
Financial Modeling & Forecasting
You need an investor-ready financial model, scenario analysis for a major decision, or a realistic forecast you can actually defend to your board. I have hands-on FP&A experience and a quantitative background that keeps the numbers honest.
AI Tool Evaluation
Before you commit budget to an AI implementation, I’ll test whether it actually works for your use case. I spent two years at MITRE evaluating LLM-based software against real-world scenarios. I bring that same rigor to commercial tools – no hype, just honest assessment.
